SPECIAL ONE YEAR POST!

Hey everybody! Today is one year since that night when I contemplated suicide, and led to writing this blog. This has been a crazy year, from school, to having to put my education on hold for my health, finding a job, making new friends, starting the new school year, and etc. To be honest with you, I didn't think I would make it this far, much less keep the blog going. It's been tough, and I've posted late a few times, but we made it, huh? Thank you so much for sticking with me and following me on my journey and showing your support. Today, I asked a few of my closest friends to draw a semicolon on their wrist to show their support. Just seeing those gestures and all the love I have gotten today reminds me why I do this, and why I'm still here. Even on my bad days. I am so humbled to have you guys reading this and telling me how you liked it and encouraged me. I told Bridey that I never thought I would make it this far, and she said she knew I would. Lissie told me she was proud of me. I got hug after hug, and smiles beyond what I could've imagined today. Even though today is not ending on a good note (I'll go more into that on Saturday like normal), I am so blessed and happy to have you along for the ride. I know y'all never do this, but just this once could y'all leave a comment below of what you love about me or something encouraging for me to help keep me going? These past few days have been rough, and I need the encouragement. Anyways, thank you for one amazing year! Have a great rest of the week!

    Marian you are just flat adorable. I always felt when I saw you at school that you probably were thinking and feeling on a different (higher) plane than a lot of other kids your age. And that's a good thing. You have an incredible life waiting for you....and I can't wait to see what you do with it. Don't let the trees stop you from enjoying the forest. Now go be adorable.     Marlee, I know I haven't known you for very long, but I just want to say, you are the definition of fantastic. Your energy and passion, loyalty and love, and your genuineness are just a small part of how awesome you are. I am so encouraged by your strength and courage through hardship. You are a gift from God to those around you and you shine his light wherever you go. I can't wait to get to know you better these next couple years! I love you Marlee!!

A New Beginning

Well, hello everyone! I'm back! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few years, and I would love to catch y'all up on all of them! Let's just get started on the writing, shall we? Fall 2018 Wow, what didn't happen in fall of 2018? Let's see. I was still able to work at the Belcher Center as a student usher, and I really loved my job! It was always so much fun to work with Kurt and the gang. Big Step Forward

I took a big step forward today. I went to get a haircut. Now, most people would think that's not a big deal, but I have an irrational fear of barber shops and hair salons. Yesterday, I made it as far as the parking lot before I started having a panic attack. But today, I did it. I got a haircut. I'm really proud of myself, and I know that this is a big step for me. Sorry about not posting last week, I had a date with my daddy that lasted all day. These past two weeks have been pretty good. My class has been going well, and I'm super happy with how it's been going. Season 15 of NCIS has been released on Netflix, and OH MY GOSH MY EMOTIONS!!! I'm going to die. Hey guys. This week has been absolutely horrible, with the exception of Monday evening. Monday evening, Bridey came over, and we celebrated Galentine's Day. It was really fun. She got me the cutest fox EVER! I am absolutely in love with it and have kept it near me all week. I named her Lil' Bit because it's so little and for a personal reason. Dad came home with a bad bug last week, and I caught it. My immune system is down already because I have been sick for so long and homebound, so a simple cold lasted me until just about today. I'm still getting over it. It felt like I had pneumonia or something. I was not a happy camper. On top of that, I had to cancel college night because I am still getting over this thing, and my emotions have been all over the place. I have been really, really depressed these last couple of days.
