Wait. I did WHAT?

Hey guys! Sorry for the late post, but this week has been CRAZY!!! Oh my lord it has been crazy. Last Saturday I took my TExES exam, and I just about lost my mind. Well, Wednesday I got my results. I passed 2 of the 5 tests!! I actually passed some! This came as a huge surprise to me because I didn't think I was going to pass any tests. So, yeah. That was a good thing. Monday, I got to have lunch with Martha, which was such a blessing. She and I have been running in such different circles that it has been hard to really spend some time together, so it was nice to have lunch and talk. Tuesday, I got to start a Bible study with Bridey! The two of us are going through a book together, so we can keep each other accountable and to spend time in the Word together. I have been enjoying it so far, considering we have only done one lesson. The rest of this week has kinda passed in a blur. I'm still keeping busy with work and classes, so I am slowly losing my mind.😜 This coming Saturday, Pro-Life LeTourneau is partnering with the Rugby club to put on a 3k called the LeTourneau Life Lap. We are raising money for Expectant Heart Pregnancy Resource Center. I would love it if y'all would sign up and come out to support this amazing place that provides so many resources to families in East Texas. Registration is $10 if you go to letu.edu/prolife3k and register before Saturday. Walk up registration is $15. All the rest of the info is on the website. Hope to see you there!

Well, hey there everybody! I hope that your week was good. Mine, on the other hand, well, let's just say that a meteor crashing into my house would be a highlight. I have been home sick and in pain all week. I went to campus to take care of some paperwork and a meeting, but other than that, home has been my prison. Let me tell you, this is no fun. The best part of this week tho would have to be Wednesday. As most of my friends know, one of my favorite YouTubers came out with an EP called Like a Lion. One year. 365 days. 8,760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds. That's how long you have been gone. It has been the hardest year of my life. One year without your smile. Hey guys. Sorry that this post is a day late. Yesterday was really bad as far as my health goes. I was having a hard time keeping my head up, and walking was a lot of effort. But, it was a pretty good day as far as emotions go! My friend Ellie, from high school, surprised me with a visit. We talked and got to catch up, which was good. She and I were really good friends in high school, and she was the first one to make me feel welcome at ETCS when I started there. To make the day even better, my parents, who were out on a date all day, came home with Lissie! I was not expecting that. I got to spend an evening with my best friend, which was nice. She helped me make pizza with a gluten-free pizza crust mix that my daddy found, and then she made cookies for her party that she went to tonight.
