Making a Difference
Hey everybody! Merry Christmas Adam! If you don't know what that means, it means the day before Christmas Eve. Adam came before Eve, so we have Christmas Adam. Okay, now that we have that out of the way, welcome to Christmas week! I am writing you this week from my grandparent's house, where we are watching Hallmark movies and enjoying Christmas decorations. We officially have a new van! After Mom had her wreck a couple months back, we have been praying and searching for a new van, and we finally have one. It is so nice to not have to worry about shuffling cars anymore. I got to do something special this week. On Wednesday, I went to a local elementary school to deliver Christmas gifts for the students. They opened them yesterday at their class parties, and I wish I could have seen their faces while they opened them. I'm sure they were so happy and excited to open Christmas presents. Next week, I get to go back to the school and help decorate and set a room up for them. These students are so special and I can't wait to see their faces when they see the surprise room. Yesterday, I got to meet up with a friend, and we had lunch at a salad place. If you know anything about me, you know I hate salad and call it rabbit food. Well, yesterday, as I was eating, I found myself enjoying my salad. What kind of monster have I turned into? Anyway, after we had lunch, we went exploring around town, and I got to see two giant Christmas trees and enjoy time with my friend. This week, you have the last two Christmas songs of the year! The first is "A Christmas Lullaby" by Bryan Lanning, and the second is "A Christmas to Remember" by Amy Grant. Both of these songs are so amazing, and Amy Grant's song has been my favorite since I was little. Anyways, have a Merry Christmas and a great week!
