Woah. Lots Going On

Hey everybody! Sorry for the lack of post last weekend. I'll explain in a little bit. So, y'all know that Faithy came down to visit me. Oh. My. Glob. It was so much fun to see her and to hang out with her for a few days. Thursday, we drove back from Dallas, and got back at around 12:30 am. Friday was Longview day. Faith, Lissie, and I went to LeTourneau, where we showed her the school. After that we went to the Longview Mall and Wet Pets and Critters. Faith loved seeing all the animals. We then went to Target to help Lissie find a swimsuit. That took a while, but it was fun none the less. Saturday, we went to Build a Bear in Tyler. Faith made an Eevee and I made a Pikachu. Faith then found a candy store. As if she needs any more sugar. After leaving Build a Bear, we drove to Ft. Worth to go to the Stockyards. On the way there, we hydroplaned and spun out on an exit. I have a sprained wrist, and whiplash. The car is fine. Faith is fine. God really protected us. We didn't hit anything or anyone else. It was definitely a God thing. I have my hand in a brace and my arm in a sling for a few days. Sunday, Faith flew back to KC, at 7:15 in the morning. We had to get up at 5:15, got to the airport by 6:30, and she got on the plane at 6:45. I miss her a lot. I drove home after dropping her off at the airport, at was home by 8:30 in the morning. Lissie stayed until today. She had a camp this week, and it was so fun to have her here and to hang out with her. Beauty and the Beast came out on DVD on Tuesday, so I bought it (duh) and Lissie and I watched it. She hadn't seen it yet, and she loved it. Corinne came over for a bit, and watched most of the movie with us. Yesterday was really rough. Daddy took Sherlock to be put down. He was my first kitty, so it was a really hard day. I'm still processing, so there will be lots of tears these next few days. Thursday, we went swimming. AJ and one of her friends came over, and there was a lot of rough housing. My shoulder and wrist got re-injured. Which, you know, is fantastic. Anyways, I'm gonna work on getting my shoulder and wrist better. Have a great one!

A New Beginning

Well, hello everyone! I'm back! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few years, and I would love to catch y'all up on all of them! Let's just get started on the writing, shall we? Fall 2018 Wow, what didn't happen in fall of 2018? Let's see. I was still able to work at the Belcher Center as a student usher, and I really loved my job! It was always so much fun to work with Kurt and the gang. I also was student teaching at Spring Hill Primary here in town. I loved working with the teacher and the kiddos, and I had so much fun every day there. Big Step Forward

I took a big step forward today. I went to get a haircut. Now, most people would think that's not a big deal, but I have an irrational fear of barber shops and hair salons. Yesterday, I made it as far as the parking lot before I started having a panic attack. But today, I did it. I got a haircut. I'm really proud of myself, and I know that this is a big step for me. Sorry about not posting last week, I had a date with my daddy that lasted all day. These past two weeks have been pretty good. My class has been going well, and I'm super happy with how it's been going. Season 15 of NCIS has been released on Netflix, and OH MY GOSH MY EMOTIONS!!! I'm going to die. Only 15 days until I leave for my trip! I'm super excited to go to Florida. Like, I'm super ready. Anyways, that's all for this week. Have a good one! Stay beautiful! Marlee

Hey guys. This week has been absolutely horrible, with the exception of Monday evening. Monday evening, Bridey came over, and we celebrated Galentine's Day. It was really fun. She got me the cutest fox EVER! I am absolutely in love with it and have kept it near me all week. I named her Lil' Bit because it's so little and for a personal reason. Dad came home with a bad bug last week, and I caught it. My immune system is down already because I have been sick for so long and homebound, so a simple cold lasted me until just about today. I'm still getting over it. It felt like I had pneumonia or something. I was not a happy camper. On top of that, I had to cancel college night because I am still getting over this thing, and my emotions have been all over the place. I have been really, really depressed these last couple of days.
