Catching Up

Hey everybody! Sorry it's been a couple of days. Classes and homework have been CRAZYYYYYY! I finally finished my Primary Source Review that was due last Thursday, but because of a hiccup in the system, I didn't get the notification. Crazy huh? I also found out that I have to take 6 hours of adult driver's ed by Tuesday. That is so GREAT! NOT! I also have had a hard time this week. Yesterday, I was kind of upset because I am kind of jealous. Lots of people I know are dating, and I just feel like that I will never be able to have someone to love. I know that I just need to be patient and wait for God to bring the right man, but it's so hard. Especially when just about every one I know is dating someone. I have been really frustrated because of the driving stuff, upset because of the dating stuff, and just down about not really feeling better even after surgery. Oh, and I haven't even told you the best part! Last night while I was on campus before my 6:30-9:30 class, I was hanging out with the bestie, and we got a little crazy. She knocked a skateboard off the rack at the student center and it hit me in the shin! Needless to say, I have a pretty nice, swollen bruise. Doesn't that sound great? Well, I'm gonna leave you here.

Well, hey there everybody! I hope that your week was good. Mine, on the other hand, well, let's just say that a meteor crashing into my house would be a highlight. I have been home sick and in pain all week. I went to campus to take care of some paperwork and a meeting, but other than that, home has been my prison. Let me tell you, this is no fun. The best part of this week tho would have to be Wednesday. As most of my friends know, one of my favorite YouTubers came out with an EP called Like a Lion. I may or may not have listened to it multiple times. I absolutely love the songs and the message of the album. It's been tough since I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and gluten freeness. One year. 365 days. 8,760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds. That's how long you have been gone. It has been the hardest year of my life. One year without your smile. One year without your laugh. One year without your beautiful voice. One year without your love. One year without you. I've forgotten what your voice sounds like. I've forgotten what your hugs feel like. I've forgotten a lot of the little things, and that hurts like nothing I've ever felt. But I haven't forgotten the big things you've taught me. Hey guys. Sorry that this post is a day late. Yesterday was really bad as far as my health goes. I was having a hard time keeping my head up, and walking was a lot of effort. But, it was a pretty good day as far as emotions go! My friend Ellie, from high school, surprised me with a visit. We talked and got to catch up, which was good. She and I were really good friends in high school, and she was the first one to make me feel welcome at ETCS when I started there. To make the day even better, my parents, who were out on a date all day, came home with Lissie! I was not expecting that. I got to spend an evening with my best friend, which was nice. She helped me make pizza with a gluten-free pizza crust mix that my daddy found, and then she made cookies for her party that she went to tonight.
