Words Hurt

Hey there beautiful humans! How have y'all been! I am sorry about the lack of posts. There have been a lot of things going on. Firstly, I was traveling back from Lissie's wedding! That was so much fun. I was honored to have been a bridesmaid and to stand with her on her special day. I made so many memories, reaffirmed friendships, and formed new ones. I had the time of my life. Seeing Kelsie was also a plus, since she is gonna be at Disney this fall. You go Kels! Know we love and miss you sweet girl! Last week was rough. I just want to say something to y'all. Words hurt. There have been some things said to and about me that have made me feel...worthless. One thing said that I was not going to heaven and Jesus would not love me if I killed myself. Another said that helping people with depression is like giving them a gun, and that they should just be loved to Jesus and that would be okay. Um, no! One of the things I deeply depend on is my friends and family to help me throug...

Another Week Closer

Hey beautiful humans! How are y'all? I'm doing okay, it's been a crazy week. Next week is gonna be super busy, and there will be a late post because I will be traveling! Crazy right? Anyways, this week consisted of work, car stuff, sleep, movies, and trying not to freak out about stuff. I'm still dealing with trauma and such, so prayers would be appreciated. I have added something to my nightly routine that seems to be helping me sleep. I have been drinking Sleepytime Tea by Celestial Seasonings. It has been something to help me relax after a long day, and it has been helping me fall asleep and such. Tonight is the Balloon Race here in town, so I am gonna grab AJ and head over to see the balloons and to spend time together. She is also staying the night so we can have a sleepover before I leave next week. I'm really excited. Next week I am going to Lissie's wedding in Michigan, so Bekah and I are leaving Tuesday and we will be back Sunday. Prayers for safe trave...

I'm Back!

Hey beautiful people! I'm back! Thank you for being so patient while I took a mental break to gather my thoughts and everything. A lot has happened in my life since I wrote you! I have been doing a lot of working, and trying to keep my head on straight. I went to Colorado for my dad's parent's 50th anniversary, and I was sick the entire time. That was no fun. I also realized that I cannot live in the mountains because of how my body handled the elevation, which was not well. A couple of weeks later, I went down to Bridey's, and that was so much fun. We went shopping, where I got my wand for when I go to Wizarding World in December, some Lego sets, and some books. It was so much fun to spend the weekend with Bridey and to see where she grew up. The day before I left for Bridey's, I had a bit of a scare. I won't go into it, because I am still dealing with it. Just know that I am okay and trying to live my life normally again. My next trip is to Michigan for Lissie...

I need a break...

Hey there everybody. I'm really sorry for the inconsistancy in posts lately. There has been a lot going on. As of right now, I have no computer. The motherboard on mine decided to die on me, which was very rude. There is also a lot going on in life right now, such as trips and unexpected situations. So, for right now, I am taking a hiatous from the blog. I need to take an emotional break and get everything reoriented in my life right now. This break should only be a few weeks, until I can get my new computer. I am working as much as I can and saving up to I can get a reliable computer. I love each and everyone of you, and I'm so thankful that you have joined me on this ride. I will see y'all in a few weeks. Stay Beautiful! Marlee

Woah. Lots Going On

Image
Hey everybody! Sorry for the lack of post last weekend. I'll explain in a little bit. So, y'all know that Faithy came down to visit me. Oh. My. Glob. It was so much fun to see her and to hang out with her for a few days. Thursday, we drove back from Dallas, and got back at around 12:30 am. Friday was Longview day. Faith, Lissie, and I went to LeTourneau, where we showed her the school. After that we went to the Longview Mall and Wet Pets and Critters. Faith loved seeing all the animals. We then went to Target to help Lissie find a swimsuit. That took a while, but it was fun none the less. Saturday, we went to Build a Bear in Tyler. Faith made an Eevee and I made a Pikachu. Faith then found a candy store. As if she needs any more sugar. After leaving Build a Bear, we drove to Ft. Worth to go to the Stockyards. On the way there, we hydroplaned and spun out on an exit. I have a sprained wrist, and whiplash. The car is fine. Faith is fine. God really protected us. We didn't hit...

The Countdown Begins

Hey lovelies! As you can tell by the title, the countdown has begun. Faith will be here in 5 days. FIVE DAYS PEOPLE!!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄 I can't tell you how excited I am to see her and to be able to spend time with her. I just. I can't. I can't. Next week's post will probably be on Sunday instead of Saturday because Faith and I will be on the road and such all day. Sorry in advance! I am so excited to see her. Don't worry. There will be plenty of stories a photos to go along with the post. I am also counting down until the days I go see Bridey, when Lissie gets here, and Lissie's wedding. This summer should be great! This week has been okay. I had work, babysitting my cousin, and my parents came home from Brasil. It was so good to pick them up from the airport and to see them again. Work has been good. They've been keeping me busy, which is a good thing. I like being busy. Anyways, nothing huge happened this week, so this post is gonna be shorter. Emotio...

My Newest Obsession

Hey lovelies! Sorry for the lack of post last week. I had work all day. Two showings of The Little Mermaid Ballet. It was pretty good. That week was really slow. The most I had done was pick up AJ from school and we went shopping. It is always so much fun to hang out with my girl. This past week I started work at the Margaret Estes Library at LeTourneau. I work from 8am-1pm, and I am loving it. It is so much fun to be working and to have fun coworkers. Tuesday night, I had another show. It was Celtic Woman. Oh. My. Freaking. Glob. I have a new obsession. If you haven't listened to them, I would highly suggest doing so. The harmonies are beautiful. My favorite songs by them so far are Mo Ghile Mear, Tir na nOg, Amazing Grace, and Walk Beside Me. Jennie worked the same show, and she had never heard them before. She was amazed. It's so fun to have someone to obsess with. The entire show, I had chills and goosebumps. As of right now, there are 12 days until I see Faithy!! We are bo...
