Catching Up
Hey lovelies! I am so sorry for the lack of post these past couple of weeks. First it was Dead Week on campus, so I was getting assignments figured out, and then it was finals, so I was studying! I feel bad about not posting, so I am very sorry. Anyways, these past couple of weeks have been rough. Dead Week was stressful, and then I had to say goodbye to my friends this past week. I am sad about seeing them go, but I have a lot of stuff to look forward to this summer. I have been relaxing most of the past couple of days. One of my friends got me a Stitch pillow pet this week. Oh. My. Glob. He is so freaking soft and cuddly. I love him a lot. I also got a song this week. It's called "Barricade" by Gentri. Their harmonizing is so amazing and soothing to my soul. The song itself is so meaningful to me.
Stay beautiful!

Barricade
You push away, but I'm not listening. You hide your face, but I can still see someone trying not to break her barricade. Just say the word, and I'll be waiting, to hold the hurt that you're not saying. Just give me one chance to break your barricade.I have a huge barricade around my heart because of how I have been treated by people. But, it has been cracked. The people I have met in the past few years have been breaking down my barricade and teaching me how to trust. It is going to take a long time, and I have been praying about having my barricade broken, but I know it will happen. I am so thankful for all the friends that have been put in my life who don't listen when I push away. They make me face my issues and think about what I need to change and genuinely want to help me. They hold me when I am hurting and they help me break down my barricade. I have come a long way, but there is still a long way to go. If you want to listen to the song, I'll have it linked down below. If you struggle with depression or anxiety like I do, I would encourage you to listen to the song, and imagine Jesus saying this to you. If you don't believe in Jesus, imagine your best friend saying this to you. I do both. It really changes your perspective. Anyways, that's all for this week! Have a great one!
Stay beautiful!
