Thankful for Friends

Hey everybody! How was y'all's week? Mine has been an emotional roller coaster. Like, it's been insane. The past couple of days have been pretty okay tho. Physically, I'm doing well enough. My body is definitely worn down from this semester. I need so much sleep it's not even funny. But today has been relaxing. Today I saw a pic that made me think.
It's so true tho! I love the humans that I have chosen tho. 

Firstly, there's Bridey and Kelsie. My goodness, these girls. I cannot express my gratitude to them for all the times I have invaded their dorm room, to hang out, to talk, or just to be. They opened up their room and their lives to me, and I will forever be thankful. Both of these girls are so much fun, and I can't wait for all of our adventures to come.
Then, of course, there's Lissie. This girl has been with me through all of my ups and downs for the past two years, has listened to me rant about anything and everything, and has given me so many pieces of advice over the years. She is definitely one of my favorite humans that I have chosen. She took a shy high schooler and helped her soar.
What can I say about my sweet Kendal? She is a light in a dark world, and knows how to make life fun. She has a heart for children like I have never seen, and a passion for Jesus that just makes you want to know Him more. She is going to go places and do great things, and I will be in the front row to cheer her on.
Sweet, sweet LeAnne. This girl has the most caring heart I have ever seen. She not only cares genuinely for others, she makes you want to care for others as well. Her love for Jesus and her passion for teaching really show in her everyday life. I can't wait to see what God has in store for her.
Nikki. Or Tonks. Whatever I feel like calling her on a daily basis. This girl is so strong and fierce, so don't you dare cross her. She has a strength that I can only hope to strive for, and a passion for others that rivals others. She is such a special girl, and I can't wait to see what she get's to do for God.
All of these girls are so special to me, and I can't wait to see where God takes them. All the while, I will be cheering from the front row. Anyways, hope y'all have a great week.

A New Beginning

Well, hello everyone! I'm back! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few years, and I would love to catch y'all up on all of them! Let's just get started on the writing, shall we? Fall 2018 Wow, what didn't happen in fall of 2018? Let's see. I was still able to work at the Belcher Center as a student usher, and I really loved my job! It was always so much fun to work with Kurt and the gang. I also was student teaching at Spring Hill Primary here in town. I loved working with the teacher and the kiddos, and I had so much fun every day there. Big Step Forward

I took a big step forward today. I went to get a haircut. Now, most people would think that's not a big deal, but I have an irrational fear of barber shops and hair salons. Yesterday, I made it as far as the parking lot before I started having a panic attack. But today, I did it. I got a haircut. I'm really proud of myself, and I know that this is a big step for me. Sorry about not posting last week, I had a date with my daddy that lasted all day. These past two weeks have been pretty good. My class has been going well, and I'm super happy with how it's been going. Season 15 of NCIS has been released on Netflix, and OH MY GOSH MY EMOTIONS!!! I'm going to die. Hey guys. This week has been absolutely horrible, with the exception of Monday evening. Monday evening, Bridey came over, and we celebrated Galentine's Day. It was really fun. She got me the cutest fox EVER! I am absolutely in love with it and have kept it near me all week. I named her Lil' Bit because it's so little and for a personal reason. Dad came home with a bad bug last week, and I caught it. My immune system is down already because I have been sick for so long and homebound, so a simple cold lasted me until just about today. I'm still getting over it. It felt like I had pneumonia or something. I was not a happy camper. On top of that, I had to cancel college night because I am still getting over this thing, and my emotions have been all over the place. I have been really, really depressed these last couple of days.
