New Blog!

Hey everybody! This week has been pretty busy. I had a test today, and let's just say that I didn't do to well. But, I don't really want to talk about it. I've been pretty depressed today. I don't really want to talk about it right now, though. I'm still processing. Mom and dad have been gone this weekend for their anniversary. James and I have been home alone, and it's been okay. We haven't blown up the house yet, which is a good thing. I have a new blog for you guys! It's not like this, where I talk to you guys. It's a story blog, where I post chapters of stories or short stories that I have written. If you are interested in reading it, I'll link it down below. I hope y'all really enjoy it. I am still writing the story that will be linked, so it's not complete yet. If you want, you can comment and leave me suggestions about what stories you would want to see and things like that. I also started reading The Chronicles of Narnia this week. So far, I've read The Magician's Nephew, and I really enjoyed it. I also got Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Monday. Good lord, it is all I have ever wanted in life. No spoilers, because some of my readers haven't read it yet, but you really need to read this book. It is a script, and it so let my imagination roam. I also have been really frustrated by what a lot of the so called "Potterheads" have been saying about it. I posted this on Facebook a couple of days ago. 
"Okay people. I saw this article today about how people are disappointed about how Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is not, in fact, a novel. It is a script. I have no issue with this. If you notice, JK was completely open and honest with us about saying that it is not a novel, but a script, and shall be written as such. There is no room for you to complain if you didn't pay attention. They are also saying that JK owes us a novel and more. NO SHE DOES NOT! Good grief people! If anything, we owe her for bringing us Harry Potter and his world. She didn't have to do that. She also didn't have to approve the stage play and publish the script! She did those things because she wanted to! I absolutely love Cursed Child. It was amazing and it let my imagination roam. Further more, it is not in her style because she did not write it on her own. She was an adviser and helper. The playwright wrote it. She helped. It says so on the cover. Okay, so can we just be nice to JK now? And thank her for the gift she has given us as Potterheads? Please?" 
It really frustrates me when people rant about something that they had complete knowledge about. So much frustration. I also found out that Texas has it's own Quidditch team. The Sweetwater All Stars. Logo and team pic will be included below. I am so happy with the Harry Potter universe right now. Anyways, that's all for this week.

A New Beginning

Well, hello everyone! I'm back! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few years, and I would love to catch y'all up on all of them! Let's just get started on the writing, shall we? Fall 2018 Wow, what didn't happen in fall of 2018? Let's see. I was still able to work at the Belcher Center as a student usher, and I really loved my job! It was always so much fun to work with Kurt and the gang. I also was student teaching at Spring Hill Primary here in town. I loved working with the teacher and the kiddos, and I had so much fun every day there. Big Step Forward

I took a big step forward today. I went to get a haircut. Now, most people would think that's not a big deal, but I have an irrational fear of barber shops and hair salons. Yesterday, I made it as far as the parking lot before I started having a panic attack. But today, I did it. I got a haircut. I'm really proud of myself, and I know that this is a big step for me. Sorry about not posting last week, I had a date with my daddy that lasted all day. These past two weeks have been pretty good. My class has been going well, and I'm super happy with how it's been going. Season 15 of NCIS has been released on Netflix, and OH MY GOSH MY EMOTIONS!!! I'm going to die. Only 15 days until I leave for my trip! I'm super excited to go to Florida. Like, I'm super ready. Anyways, that's all for this week. Have a good one! Stay beautiful! Marlee

Hey guys. This week has been absolutely horrible, with the exception of Monday evening. Monday evening, Bridey came over, and we celebrated Galentine's Day. It was really fun. She got me the cutest fox EVER! I am absolutely in love with it and have kept it near me all week. I named her Lil' Bit because it's so little and for a personal reason. Dad came home with a bad bug last week, and I caught it. My immune system is down already because I have been sick for so long and homebound, so a simple cold lasted me until just about today. I'm still getting over it. It felt like I had pneumonia or something. I was not a happy camper. On top of that, I had to cancel college night because I am still getting over this thing, and my emotions have been all over the place. I have been really, really depressed these last couple of days.
