Hey everybody! I am officially 21 now! This week has been amazing. Starting off with Fall Break, and a surprise visit with Kelsie, was definitely a great way to begin. We all went out for dinner on Sunday night to Red Robin for Bridey's birthday. It was so much fun to sit and talk and celebrate Bridey. Monday night, I went to Bridey's to watch a movie, and we were joined by Rachel, her suitemate. Tuesday, I did homework and relaxed at home. Tuesday night, we did a family birthday celebration for me, AJ, and Aunt Sabrina. We had dinner and opened presents, and it was so much fun. Mom and Dad got me a Billow by Eno, and it is the most comfortable thing ever. Wednesday was my actual birthday. Classes went well, I got to wear a tiara, and dress up like Hermione. It was so much fun. I got to have lunch with Mom, and then after classes Bridey and I met up and got some drinks from The Hive. Then, we went to her room, where she gave me a copy of John Green's new book "Turtles All the Way Down"!!!! I'll go into more detail later on. Thursday was okay, and then last night, we had a double birthday celebration for Bridey and me. We grilled hot dogs, and were supposed to have a bonfire. But, thanks to the ever present Texas Burn Ban, we had to use some good old LETU ingenuity. We roasted marshmallows over some hot coals in a bucket. It was all quite amusing. We had a good turn out, and I have the sweetest friends. One gave me a 3d printed picture of Nikki, Jessi, and me, another gave me a dinosaur shirt and Gryffendor mug, and a couple others gave me a book for my future classroom. It was so amazing to see and be with these amazing friends. It was also an exciting evening, with me burning my hands 3 times, and breaking a window with one hand, that still hurts. So, now to the book. Oh. My. Glob. I am so happy that someone has finally written a book with a main character like me. Just reading through the book, I could see so many similarities between me and Aza, the main character. I also saw a lot of my friends in Aza's best friend Daisy. It was so cool to be able to have a character that I can identify with. I highly suggest you read the book, and tell me what you think in the comments! I am also going to start doing a song of the week. This week, we have two songs by Anthem Lights. One is called "Just Be You", featuring Sadie Robertson, and the other is their version of "In Christ Alone". Please listen to both of them, and tell me what you thought in the comments below! A New Beginning

Well, hello everyone! I'm back! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few years, and I would love to catch y'all up on all of them! Let's just get started on the writing, shall we? Fall 2018 Wow, what didn't happen in fall of 2018? Let's see. I was still able to work at the Belcher Center as a student usher, and I really loved my job! It was always so much fun to work with Kurt and the gang. I also was student teaching at Spring Hill Primary here in town. I loved working with the teacher and the kiddos, and I had so much fun every day there. Big Step Forward

I took a big step forward today. I went to get a haircut. Now, most people would think that's not a big deal, but I have an irrational fear of barber shops and hair salons. Yesterday, I made it as far as the parking lot before I started having a panic attack. But today, I did it. I got a haircut. I'm really proud of myself, and I know that this is a big step for me. Sorry about not posting last week, I had a date with my daddy that lasted all day. These past two weeks have been pretty good. My class has been going well, and I'm super happy with how it's been going. Season 15 of NCIS has been released on Netflix, and OH MY GOSH MY EMOTIONS!!! I'm going to die. Hey guys. This week has been absolutely horrible, with the exception of Monday evening. Monday evening, Bridey came over, and we celebrated Galentine's Day. It was really fun. She got me the cutest fox EVER! I am absolutely in love with it and have kept it near me all week. I named her Lil' Bit because it's so little and for a personal reason. Dad came home with a bad bug last week, and I caught it. My immune system is down already because I have been sick for so long and homebound, so a simple cold lasted me until just about today. I'm still getting over it. It felt like I had pneumonia or something. I was not a happy camper. On top of that, I had to cancel college night because I am still getting over this thing, and my emotions have been all over the place. I have been really, really depressed these last couple of days.
