Overcoming Suicide

Hey everybody! Sorry for being AWOL these past two weeks. So much has happened in my life! Holy Hannah! Anyways, These past couple of weeks have been crazy busy. Last Saturday, we had the LeTourneau Life Lap. That was a lot of fun, and we had a great turn out! I also managed to re-sprain my already sprained ankle that day, so I was in a lot of pain. This week has been up and down. Yesterday was a bad day for multiple reasons. Let's just say my friends knew something was wrong and they were super helpful in being there for me. Lissie was especially helpful by listening to me as I was sobbing and telling her everything. (Thanks for letting me steal your wife Micah 😉). There has been a lot of hurt and fighting and such these past few weeks and I don't know how much more I can handle. If you think about it, please be praying for me. I need God right now and I can't do this by myself. So yeah. I am working the Neal McCoy benefit tonight at Belcher, so that should be fun. This w

Hey guys! Sorry for the late post, but this week has been CRAZY!!! Oh my lord it has been crazy. Last Saturday I took my TExES exam, and I just about lost my mind. Well, Wednesday I got my results. I passed 2 of the 5 tests!! I actually passed some! This came as a huge surprise to me because I didn't think I was going to pass any tests. So, yeah. That was a good thing. Monday, I got to have lunch with Martha, which was such a blessing. She and I have been running in such different circles that it has been hard to really spend some time together, so it was nice to have lunch and talk. Tuesday, I got to start a Bible study with Bridey! The two of us are going through a book together, so we can keep each other accountable and to spend time in the Word together. I have been enjoying it so far, considering we have only done one lesson. The rest of this week has kinda passed in a blur. I'm still keeping busy with work and classes, so I am slowly losing my mind.😜 This coming Saturday

Hey everybody! Sorry this post is late. I have been so busy between school and work and all the other things. I have had a lot of really good days. My girls came back, school started, work started, and I have been keeping busy. I took the practice TExES exam today, and my brain is fried. I am so stressed about how I did, and I didn't sleep well at all last night. This week was also full of friendaversaries. Thursday was Bridey and my 2 year friendaversary, Friday was Nikki, Jessi and my friendaversary, and today is Lissie and my 3 year friendaversary. I love my girls and I am so blessed to have them in my life. I also went to a Rangers game with my dad a couple of weeks ago, and it was a ton of fun. I love going to games. Last night, Nikki and Jessi came over for dinner and to play Harry Potter Clue and other stuff. This week, I also started my field experience at Trinity, and that has been fun. The teachers have been so nice and I am happy that I have been able to observe there. S
